About the role
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain SQL databases and database solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning while working closely with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Design, implement, and maintain database objects in SQL Server. Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions. Perform query optimization and database performance tuning. Monitor database performance and resolve performance bottlenecks. Create ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Develop reports and support reporting requirements. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across databases. Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with application developers during software development and deployment. Maintain database documentation, including schema, procedures, and technical specifications. Support production environments and assist in issue resolution. Required Skills Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022). Expertise in writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and CTEs. Knowledge of Query Optimization, Execution Plans, and Indexing. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or ETL tools is preferred. Understanding of database normalization and relational database concepts. Experience with database backup, recovery, and maintenance. Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with Azure SQL Database or cloud platforms. Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau. Basic understanding of C#, .NET, or Python. Exposure to data warehousing concepts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer.
