PROPOSED JD FROM APPLE ACCOUNT Salesforce Platform / DevOps Engineer Responsibilities - Act as the primary administrator for Salesforce Production and Full Sandbox environments. - Design, maintain, and optimize Salesforce CI/CD pipelines (Git-based) to automate metadata deployments and reduce manual release effort. - Manage source control, branching strategy, and merge coordination in collaboration with Salesforce developers. - Own setting and sandbox strategy, including refresh planning, AppExchange package installations, storage management, data archiving, and non-production data cleanup. - Enforce code quality and deployment readiness by ensuring Apex tests, static code analysis (PMD/CodeScan), and sandbox validations are completed prior to releases. - Lead Salesforce release management, including deployments, cutover activities, rollback planning, and platform upgrade readiness. - Manage Salesforce security and access controls, including SSO, BYOK, certificates, connected apps, access reviews, and compliance with organizational security standards. - Support user provisioning, IDMS integration, and Infosec reviews and assessments. - Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and rollback strategies to ensure business continuity. - Monitor org health, performance, storage, and system limits, and drive corrective actions based on platform metrics. - Administer and support platform tools and admin orgs and identify opportunities to automate operational tasks. - Handle data operations, including imports, exports, deduplication, translations, and backups. - Manage global org-level settings and picklists. - Maintain platform-level documentation, technical guidelines, and metadata inventories. - Assist with Salesforce license usage analysis and cost optimization. - Troubleshoot complex Salesforce platform issues related to security, performance, access, and elevated permissions. - Collaborate closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and cross-functional teams.
