As a Pipeline Developer for Editorial & Post-Production, you will join a time-critical engagement to solve pipeline bottlenecks affecting editorial, VFX, and delivery workflows in a live feature film production environment. Your primary responsibilities will include the following: - Take ownership of the existing editorial diff toolset and deploy it across the production pipeline - Integrate all editorial tools with ShotGrid as the central source of truth - Establish automated cut change propagation to eliminate manual upload delays - Extend and improve the toolset to cover downstream departments error-free and automatically - Build robust data flows using OTIO and Python API integrations - Implement automated reconciliation of takes, timecodes, clip names, and technical metadata - Ensure data integrity across editorial, VFX, audio, and on-set systems - Produce clear technical documentation of all developed tooling and integrations for handover to the internal pipeline team Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience with ShotGrid APIs - Strong Python skills for pipeline and API integration work - Hands-on experience with OpenTimelineIO (OTIO) - Python API integration experience with DaVinci Resolve and/or Baselight - Understanding of database concepts and data modeling - Ability to deliver with urgency in a live production environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Desirable skills and experience: - Background in VFX, film, or episodic post-production pipelines - Familiarity with editorial tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Hiero, and Baselight - Experience with FMP (FileMaker Pro) or similar production management databases - Knowledge of on-set data and continuity tracking workflows - Understanding of HDRI, camera solve workflows, and virtual production (VP/Unreal post-viz) These positions are based in Mumbai, India, and require immediate availability.
