Work with cutting-edge network security technologies in a dynamic enterprise environment Opportunity to lead complex firewall implementations and security policy development Collaborative team environment with cross-functional project exposure Competitive compensation ranging from $70-$80 per hour based on experience Key Responsibilities Implement, modify, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewall policies, NAT rules, security zones, and security profiles based on business and user requirements Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewall rules, VPN connectivity, and access control policies Implement and support Cisco ASR IPSEC VPN tunnel configurations, including site-to-site VPN deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution Investigate, diagnose, and resolve firewall-related incidents, connectivity issues, security policy conflicts, and traffic-flow problems Analyze firewall logs and traffic patterns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Perform routine firewall policy reviews to ensure security, compliance, and operational effectiveness Implement and support fundamental network routing changes, including static routing, route updates, and connectivity modifications across enterprise environments Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and application teams to support change management and production deployments Qualifications Expert-level experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ASR, and Palo Alto Networks firewall technologies Strong proficiency in VPN configurations, IPSEC protocols, and network routing including static routing and NAT Deep understanding of security zones, security profiles, and firewall log analysis Proven track record in incident response, problem management, and network operations Ability to write and implement complex security policies with minimal supervision Experience with enterprise-level network security implementations and troubleshooting Ready to Apply?
