Job Description Data Engineer (DBT + Snowflake) Location: Mumbai (Hybrid 10 Days/Month Onsite) Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) Work Mode: Hybrid (10 days onsite every month in Mumbai) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, DBT, Snowflake, Kafka, and SnapLogic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data models, building reliable data pipelines, optimizing data warehouse performance, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT.Build reusable, modular SQL models following DBT best practices.Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake.Design dimensional models and Data Vault architectures (Star/Snowflake Schemas).Optimize query performance and manage Snowflake security, roles, and access controls.Build and maintain real-time data ingestion pipelines using Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.Design, orchestrate, and monitor ETL/ELT workflows using SnapLogic.Manage source code using Git/GitHub.Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar automation tools.Ensure data quality through validation, testing, lineage tracking, and governance.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, transformations, and metrics.Proactively identify and resolve data issues while driving continuous improvements.Required Skills Technical Skills Strong expertise in SQLHands-on experience with DBTSnowflake Data WarehouseData Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault)SQL Query Optimization & Performance TuningKafka or similar Event Streaming PlatformsSnapLogic ETL/ELTGit & GitHubGitHub Actions / CI-CDData Quality, Testing & GovernanceDBT DocumentationSoft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsMandatory Skills SQLDBTSnowflakeKafkaSnapLogicGit/GitHubCI/CDData ModelingPreferred Skills Experience with enterprise-scale Data Warehouse projects.Exposure to Agile development methodologies.Experience building modern cloud-based analytics platforms. .
