Senior Network Engineer (Operations)

As a Senior Network Engineer (Operations) at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting network and security infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise networks, monitoring support queues, handling network incidents, escalations, and service requests, performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis, supporting various networking environments, maintaining and optimizing routing, switching, security, and load-balancing infrastructure, automating network operations, and collaborating with global teams on network projects and upgrades. You will also be participating in rotational shift coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and support network and security infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. - Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise networks. - Monitor support queues and handle network incidents, escalations, and service requests. - Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions. - Support Data Center, WAN, Campus, and Cloud networking environments. - Maintain and optimize routing, switching, security, and load-balancing infrastructure. - Automate network operations using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting tools. - Support office connectivity and end-user network services. - Collaborate with global teams on network projects, upgrades, and operational improvements. - Participate in rotational shift coverage (24x5). Required Skills & Experience: - Strong understanding of IPv4, IPv6, Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking. - Hands-on experience with BGP, MBGP, VPNs, VLANs, and VXLAN. - Expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in Network Operations, Engineering, or Infrastructure Support. - Experience supporting enterprise-scale or global networking environments. - Strong hands-on troubleshooting and operational support experience.
