About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and managing scalable data pipelines and integrations connecting Amplience CMS with eCommerce systems, analytics platforms, personalization engines, and enterprise data platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating Amplience CMS with downstream enterprise systems. - Build and manage RESTful and GraphQL API integrations for content and product data exchange. - Develop cloud-native workflows for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data. - Collaborate with content, frontend, commerce, and analytics teams to ensure seamless content delivery and availability. - Implement robust monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting mechanisms for production systems. - Optimize data storage, processing, and pipeline performance for scalability and cost efficiency. - Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security standards across systems. - Support CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices. - Work on event-driven and asynchronous data processing architectures. - Provide root cause analysis and production support for critical issues. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and architectural decisions. Qualification Required: - 610 years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering roles. - Hands-on experience with Amplience CMS (Dynamic Content, Content Hub, APIs). - Strong programming experience in Python or Java or Node.js. - Strong expertise in REST APIs and GraphQL integrations. - Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration tools. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Pub/Sub. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams. Company Information: The company prefers candidates with experience in eCommerce or Digital Experience platforms, exposure to headless CMS architecture, and composable commerce ecosystems. Additionally, familiarity with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes is considered an advantage.
