R&D - Engineer II

• Provide key support for front-end engineering projects, developing new products and operations. • Conducting competitor assessments, monitoring market developments, evaluating local capabilities and supporting faster project process execution. • Collaborate with global R&D, Engineering, third-party business partners, and suppliers to transfer lithium battery manufacturing technologies to the plant level. • Participate in plant project teams, acting as a bridge between R&D/Engineering/Business partners and equipment development suppliers. • Lead on-site validation and qualification of processes, materials, and equipment. • Work closely with global R&D/Engineering/Business partners, local technical teams, and QA to establish process capability and control plans. • Develop and define the sequence of manufacturing and assembly processes in accordance with established engineering principles to meet quality and cost standards. • Analyze product specifications, drawings, and engineering data to optimize production processes. • Continuously improve existing manufacturing processes to reduce risk, cost, and waste, and improve yield, productivity, and product quality. • Lead training for new hires and operations teams on materials, processes, and equipment technology transfer. • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
