About the role
The Shopify Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify-based eCommerce websites. The role focuses on creating scalable, high-performing online stores, developing custom themes and applications, integrating third-party services, and optimizing website performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Location: Noida Experience:5 - 6 years Type:Contract Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify eCommerce websites and applications.Develop custom Shopify features based on business requirements.Work with Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture and best practices.Integrate Shopify with third-party applications, payment gateways, and external services.Develop and consume Shopify APIs including Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST APIs.Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and user experience.Implement SEO best practices for Shopify-based websites.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across Shopify applications.Maintain source code using Git and follow version control best practices.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Support CI/CD deployment processes and continuous improvements.Mandatory Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.Strong expertise in Shopify platform, theme development, and customization.Hands-on experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0.Experience with Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs).Experience integrating third-party applications and services.Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. .
