RPA/Python Developer, AVP

As a Senior Automation & Application Development Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge RPA and Python-based automation solutions. Your expertise in Robotic Process Automation, Python, and emerging AI skills will be key in driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our business processes within a regulated environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, time, and cost estimates for new IT initiatives and automation projects. - Contribute to IT planning and strategy to leverage automation and emerging technologies for specific business needs. - Assess and mitigate technology risks associated with application development and automation deployments. - Lead the design, development, configuration, and deployment of end-to-end RPA and Python-based automation solutions. - Develop and configure bots primarily using Automation Anywhere and build robust Python-based automation solutions. - Oversee all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, testing, and implementation for applications and automation workflows. - Lead the migration of existing Automation Anywhere bots into Python-based automation frameworks. - Analyze complex problems/issues, providing evaluative judgment on business and system processes. - Identify opportunities for simplification, scalability, and performance enhancements in bot implementations. - Mentor junior developers, drive adoption of software engineering best practices, and lead design decisions for automation architectures. - Perform code reviews, testing, and validation of automation workflows and application components. - Provide expert support on applications and automation solutions, troubleshooting and resolving production issues. - Monitor, support, and optimize bots in production environments for continuous functionality and efficiency. - Develop reusable frameworks and components for automation, ensuring compliance with security and data privacy standards. - Contribute to RPA governance, standards, and best practices, recommending security measures and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. - Stay updated with advancements in RPA, Python automation, and emerging AI-driven automation trends. - Operate with independence of judgment and autonomy, demonstrating experience as a Subject Matter Expert in application development and automation technologies. Recommended Qualifications: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications. - Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. - Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods. - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. If you are passionate about Automation Anywhere and Python programming, experienced in building automation using Selenium and Robot Framework, and have a track record of modernizing legacy RPA implementations into code-driven automation frameworks, then this role is for you. Experience in AI tools and integration in RPA implementations is highly preferred for this position.
