SQL Database Administrator

Position: SQL DBA Experience: 4+ Years Location: Ahmedabad Workmode: 5 Days WFO Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience Position Summary SQL DBA is responsible for working with and managing a technical team of professionals providing IT services to remotely located clients. Position Responsibilities Tasks can include but are not limited to: Always ON, Replication, Log shipping, clustering, backups and recovery, audit reporting, SSRS, TDE, Performance tuning as well as proactive environment health checks TSQL, Query tuning, SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Wait statistics Disk space check, fragmentation, blocking, deadlock 2. Oversee and implement SQL Server based projects: Upgrades, migrations, refreshes, cloud implementations 3. Responsible for providing all aspects of SQL Server Database administration support. 4. Support and follow the P0 and P1 escalation process 5. Support and follow the security management program and policy 6. Provide customer health checks as required 7.
