As a Program Manager within the Engineering Functional Excellence (EFE) organization at Eaton, your role is crucial in standardizing and accelerating World Class Program Management within the context of Managing New Product Development (NPD) and driving growth for the company. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing expert support and owning the creation of Program Management Standard Work at the Enterprise Level. - Creating tools and processes for Portfolio Management, Waterlining & Profit planning, Capacity & Demand, Resource and Role-based planning, Risk management, and performance monitoring & financial aspects of the programs. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to institute best-in-class Program Management. - Developing and implementing PMO policies, procedures, and best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness. - Monitoring and reporting on programs and portfolio performance, using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic corrective actions. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of program and portfolio initiatives with business strategies. - Driving innovation within the PMO, continuously seeking ways to improve processes, tools, and methodologies. - Demonstrating the ability to estimate work, identify bottlenecks, make good control decisions, and timely escalation based on data, analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/ Master's in Engineering. - 8-12 years of program/ portfolio management experience. Skills: - Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation preferably PMP. - Good financial acumen including Project costing and control. - Experience of launching physical products following a stage gate process. - Experience working at a Divisional / Business level. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with PMO tools and software (e.g. Clarity). - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - High level of personal accountability.
