  1. Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Linux & Windows Server Administrator to join IT team in client premises. The role will primarily focus on Linux system administration (70%) while also providing support for Windows server environments (30%). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical server infrastructure across physical, virtualized, and cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and high availability. 2. Must Have Skills (Mandatory)* Strong experience (57 years) in Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian).* Hands-on expertise in Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).* Proficiency in scripting & automation (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).* Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs).* Virtualization technologies: VMware, KVM, Hyper-V.* Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure.* System security best practices (SELinux/AppArmor, patching, vulnerability remediation).* Experience with storage technologies (LVM, NFS, Samba, SAN/NAS).* Monitoring & observability tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk).* Relevant certifications (RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, MCSA/MCSE). 3. Good-to-have Skills (Optional)* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.* Exposure to web server & app server management (Apache, Nginx).* Basic database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).* Backup & disaster recovery planning.* File & Print Services management (Windows). 4. Qualifications & Experience* Bachelors / Engineering Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.* 57 years of proven experience in server administration (Linux-heavy).* Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.* Ability to work independently under minimal supervision. 1.
