The API Testing Internship provides practical exposure to REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, backend validation, authentication systems, authorization workflows, microservices testing, API automation, integration testing, security validation, and enterprise backend quality engineering. Interns will contribute to ensuring that APIs powering enterprise applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and productionready. Working alongside backend engineers, software engineers, AI engineers, DevOps engineers, and Quality Engineering teams, interns will validate backend services, automate API testing, verify business logic, monitor API performance, and support enterprise software releases. Key Responsibilities Test RESTful and GraphQL APIs for correctness and reliability. Validate API request and response structures. Perform authentication and authorization testing. Verify business logic implemented in backend services. Execute CRUD operation testing across enterprise APIs. Perform integration testing between interconnected services. Validate API contracts and schema consistency. Execute API regression testing before software releases. Develop and maintain automated API test suites. Identify, document, and report backend defects. Validate database interactions where applicable. Collaborate with backend engineers to resolve API issues. Prepare API testing reports and quality metrics. Contribute to enterprise API quality standards and testing documentation. Perform additional backend quality engineering assignments as required. Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, databases, networking concepts, and web technologies will be an added advantage but is not mandatory. Preferred Skills Programming fundamentals.
