The Mechanical Engineering Internship provides students with practical exposure to mechanical system design, product development, advanced manufacturing, robotics, thermal systems, simulation, and engineering research. Interns will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions for realworld applications. Roles and Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Create and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models. Support product design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities. Perform engineering calculations and mechanical performance analysis. Assist in manufacturing process planning and optimization. Participate in robotics, automation, and intelligent mechanical systems projects. Conduct research on advanced manufacturing technologies and engineering materials. Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and design specifications. Collaborate with electrical, electronics, software, AI, and product engineering teams. Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and project presentations. Knowledge of SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, ANSYS, MATLAB, Python, CNC Manufacturing, GDT, or simulation software will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
