The Naval Architecture Marine Engineering Internship provides students with practical exposure to ship design, marine systems, offshore engineering, hydrodynamics, structural analysis, propulsion systems, and intelligent maritime technologies. Roles and Responsibilities Assist in the conceptual design and analysis of ships and marine structures. Support hull design, stability analysis, and hydrodynamic evaluations. Participate in marine propulsion and onboard systems engineering projects. Assist in structural analysis and material selection for marine applications. Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and performance evaluations. Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design reports. Support research on autonomous marine systems, green shipping, and offshore technologies. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, civil, software, and AI engineering teams. Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities. Contribute to engineering innovation through technical discussions and project reviews. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, ANSYS, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, CFD tools, ship design software, or marine simulation platforms will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
