IT Asset Manager

As an experienced IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing enterprise-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM). Your role will involve driving governance, optimizing asset utilization, ensuring compliance, and delivering operational excellence across the hardware and software asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement ITAM strategy aligned with business and IT objectives - Establish and manage end-to-end ITAM function - Build and mentor a team of Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) professionals - Design and implement asset lifecycle processes (procurement to disposal) - Ensure compliance with internal policies, vendor contracts, and regulatory requirements - Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics - Lead implementation and optimization of ServiceNow ITAM (HAM Pro & SAM Pro) - Manage CMDB, Discovery, and workflow integrations for accurate asset tracking - Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for system alignment (e.g., ERP, Coupa) - Oversee global IT asset lifecycle management - Ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and asset reconciliation - Drive continuous improvement to enhance visibility and reduce costs - Develop dashboards and reports for asset utilization and compliance - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership Experience & Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM (HAM Pro & SAM Pro) - Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments Key Skills: - Strong understanding of ITIL and IT asset lifecycle management - Expertise in ITAM tools, governance frameworks, and process setup - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Strong analytical and reporting capabilities - Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa) and integrations Mandatory Certifications: - ITIL Foundation / Intermediate Certification - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITAM As an experienced IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing enterprise-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM).
