Development Specialist - Kafka/Spring MVC

Position : Specialist Development (API/Kafka)Location : Gurgaon (Onsite)Employment Type : Full-TimeNotice Period : Immediate Joiners / Serving Notice onlyMNC Background : MandatoryLocal Candidates : PreferredKey Responsibilities : - Collaborate with Architects, Designers, Business System Analysts, Application Analysts and Testing specialists to deliver high quality solutions.- Able to prepare high-level and detailed-level designs based on technical/business requirements and defined architectures and maintain documentation.- Detailed Document development and ability to Estimates; provide coaching and mentoring to the teams, does code review and provide effective feedback and lead the code quality in right direction.- Have been instrumental in platform migration work and technical migration work in the past and understands the involved intricacies.- Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interface design, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.- Ensure information security standards and requirements are incorporated into all solutions.- Stay current with trends in emerging technologies and how they could apply to Sun Life.Key Experience : - Experience in Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices design and architecture, Containerization concepts.- Working knowledge of Unit testing framework like Mockito etc.- Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g., Hibernate) or any JPA.- Experience in SQL and No-SQL DBs like MongoDB etc.- Working knowledge of GIT and Code version maintenance tool like Bitbucket or Github.- Good knowledge of coding best practices and should be able to do code review of peer.- Should have a working knowledge of Docker containerization.- Worked on container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes.- Worked on Event driven architecture and design Kafka etc.- Hands on experience on Kafka streams (Topology, different type of joins) for high throughput applications.- Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts as per specifications provided.- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications and troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.- Design high-level framework architecture and scalable design, provide support and providing implementation best practices for development.- Enterprise architecture expertise - designing application ecosystems consisting of many sub-components.- Experience with implementing continuous integration and delivery; CI/CD with their underlying technologies/tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Gradle/Maven, Artifactory).- Experience with Microservice architecture REST APIs, SQL, development, configuration, API Gateways, deployment to VM/Cloud environments.- Experience with implementing API Security OAuth etc.- Experience with Containerization tools hands-on.
