Production Engineer - Plastic Injection Moulding

Job Responsibilities Monitor overall production activities during the shift to achieve production targets with the required quality and efficiency. Review daily production plan versus actual production and take necessary corrective actions. Monitor the availability and consumption of raw materials as per production requirements. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to production operators during the shift. Monitor and maintain process parameters to ensure consistent product quality. Monitor machine efficiency and work towards achieving production targets. Supervise tool loading and unloading activities and ensure mould changeovers are completed within the target time. Handle and manage manpower effectively during the shift. Communicate any production, quality, or machine-related issues to senior engineers or the Production Manager. Ensure proper handling of moulds/tools to avoid damage and implement CAPA in case of any tool damage. Ensure proper machine startup by connecting all required auxiliary equipment and following standard operating procedures. Troubleshoot production and process-related defects during the shift to minimize rejection and downtime. Ensure proper shift handover by communicating production status, machine conditions, and pending issues. Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, and other shift-related records accurately. Follow company policies, maintain discipline, and ensure punctuality in duty.
