About the role
SAP Procurement - MM Specialist Summary: This role focuses on optimizing procurement processes using SAP technologies, particularly SAP MM, SRM7, and Ariba, driving efficiency and compliance in procurement activities within the organization.Responsibilities:Support business and process experts in improving the current procurement processes and tools.Monitor and support SAP Account Payable applications.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Support end users and maintain technical documentation.Coordinate with external managed-services providers.Deploy and enhance the Account Payable IT landscape.Identify and implement enhancements to procurement applications.Run projects related to application deployment and development.Design and test IS solutions, collecting and analyzing functional requirements.Must Haves:5 years of SAP SRM7, MM, FI-AP configuration or support experience.At least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience.Solid experience with SAP SRM7, MM, especially MM-IV - Logistic Invoice Verification.Knowledge of interfaces between SAP modules: FI, CO, PM, SD.Experience with LSMW, IDOCS, SAP Query & Interfaces.Nice to Haves:Experience with Readsoft and Ariba.Project management experience in an international environment.Ability to read and understand ABAP code.Experience with S4 Hana.Prior experience in IT procurement jobs.Other Details:Location: Primarily CET, with on-call responsibilities outside of IST working hours.Interaction with Global Business Services and IT experts.Reason (Must Have):5 years of SAP SRM7/MM/FI-AP experience: Essential for ensuring the support and optimization of existing procurement processes.Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience: Necessary for handling project responsibilities from coordination to delivery.Experience with MM-IV: Directly linked to understanding and improving the invoice verification processes, a key responsibility.Reason (Nice to Have):Readsoft and Ariba experience: Provides additional technical capability to integrate and enhance procurement processes effectively.Project management experience: Strengthens ability to lead and coordinate projects effectively across multiple teams.Understanding ABAP: Helps in diagnosing technical issues more effectively, improving response times.Trust Score:Score: HighEvidence: The job description provides a detailed overview of responsibilities, required technical skills with specific technologies, and clear context for the role.Sourcing Guidance / Clarifications Needed:The job description provides good technical clarity for sourcing.
