About the role
As a Consultant Software Engineer at HCA India, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of server-side applications that power digital solutions. You will play a vital role in shaping the core functionality of systems, ensuring seamless data flow, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure backend development aligns with project goals. - Participate in discussions and planning sessions to contribute to the design and architecture of server-side applications. - Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects and SSIS packages for ETL and data integration. - Develop and support .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core. - Analyze .NET, SQL, and SSIS workloads for Azure compatibility. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for server-side applications. - Participate in Agile development processes to ensure efficient development. - Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to enhance system performance. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. - 1014 years of relevant work experience, including: - 10+ years of engineering experience delivering and supporting production software products. - 10+ years of experience with .NET Core using C#. - 10+ years of extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server database objects and SSIS packages for ETL and data integration. You will need to apply strong object-oriented design and analysis skills, leverage design patterns to create scalable and maintainable code, and utilize knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and application servers to enhance backend development. Additionally, you should have experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and C#, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
