About the role
Job Summary In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and debugging tools. - Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models. - Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. - Experience implementing and handling encryption lifecycle. - Server and Database Security Administration. - Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members. - Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments from development to production systems. - Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms. - When performance issues arise, identify the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases. - Planning for capacity and handling client interactions in preparation for upcoming migrations. Ability to build standard operating procedures for technical solutions and train operational teams. Who You Are: You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You observe situational and group dynamics and select best-fit approach. You make implementation plans that allocate resources precisely. You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish. For This Role, You Will Need: - 8 -12 years Oracle Experience - Willingness to work in the 24*7 shifts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: - Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or equivalent Experience Excellent communication skills and verbal skills.
