About the role
As a Design Engineer specializing in Civil/Structural, Piping, Electrical, or Instrumentation, your role will involve the following responsibilities: Role Overview: - For Civil/Structural Engineer: - Designing and analyzing RCC and Steel structures for Oil & Gas facilities and buildings - Preparing GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOQ - Conducting load calculations including wind, seismic, and blast loads - Reviewing vendor drawings for compliance with project specs - Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and site engineers - Ensuring compliance with IS Codes, ACI, AISC, and project standards - For Electrical Engineer: - Creating SLD, load calculations, and cable sizing - Designing power distribution systems for Oil & Gas facilities - Designing lighting, earthing, and lightning protection - Classifying hazardous areas and selecting equipment - Reviewing vendor documents and evaluating technical bids - Providing site support during installation and commissioning - For Instrumentation Engineer: - Preparing and reviewing P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and specifications - Designing control systems such as PLC/DCS/SCADA - Conducting loop checking, calibration, and commissioning support - Selecting field instruments and control valves - Creating cable routing, hook-up drawings, and JB layouts - Coordinating with vendors and reviewing documents - For Piping Engineer: - Creating and reviewing Piping Layouts, GA drawings & Isometrics - Specifying piping materials, preparing MTO & BOQ - Coordinating stress analysis and providing support - Designing equipment layout and piping routing as per codes - Reviewing vendor drawings and coordinating 3D models - Ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and project standards Key Responsibilities: - Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory - Engage in design engineering & documentation tasks - Possess knowledge of relevant standards and codes (IS/IEC/ISA/API) - Coordinate with vendors and work in multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Required: - Civil: B.E./B.Tech in Civil (M.Tech preferred) - Electrical: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical - Instrumentation: B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics - Piping: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Software Knowledge: - Civil: STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Tekla (preferred) - Electrical: ETAP/EPLAN, AutoCAD, Dialux - Instrumentation: AutoCAD, SPI (SmartPlant) / AVEVA, PLC/DCS systems - Piping: AutoCAD, PDMS / E3D / SP3D, CAESAR II (preferred) In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications, you will benefit from career growth opportunities in this role.
