About the role
As a Design Engineer in the fields of Civil/Structural, Piping, Electrical, or Instrumentation at our company, your responsibilities will vary based on your specialization. For Civil/Structural Engineers: - Design and analyze RCC and Steel structures for Oil & Gas facilities and buildings - Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOQ - Perform load calculations (wind, seismic, blast loads) - Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs - Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and site engineers - Ensure compliance with IS Codes, ACI, AISC, and project standards For Electrical Engineers: - Prepare SLD, load calculations, and cable sizing - Design power distribution systems for Oil & Gas facilities - Design lighting, earthing, and lightning protection - Classify hazardous areas and select equipment - Review vendor documents and evaluate technical bids - Provide site support during installation and commissioning For Instrumentation Engineers: - Prepare and review P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and specifications - Design control systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA) - Conduct loop checking, calibration, and commissioning support - Select field instruments and control valves - Create cable routing, hook-up drawings, and JB layouts - Coordinate with vendors and review documents For Piping Engineers: - Prepare and review Piping Layouts, GA drawings & Isometrics - Specify piping materials and prepare MTO & BOQ - Coordinate stress analysis and support - Design equipment layout and piping routing as per codes - Review vendor drawings and coordinate 3D models - Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and project standards Qualifications required: - Civil: B.E./B.Tech in Civil (M.Tech preferred) - Electrical: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical - Instrumentation: B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics - Piping: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Key Skills: - Oil & Gas project experience (mandatory) - Design engineering & documentation - Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (IS/IEC/ISA/API) - Vendor coordination & multidisciplinary teamwork Software Knowledge: - Civil: STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Tekla (preferred) - Electrical: ETAP/EPLAN, AutoCAD, Dialux - Instrumentation: AutoCAD, SPI (SmartPlant) / AVEVA, PLC/DCS systems - Piping: AutoCAD, PDMS / E3D / SP3D, CAESAR II (preferred) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will have the opportunity for career growth within our organization.
