Our client is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help drive quality across modern web applications and APIs. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you’ll work with Playwright, TypeScript, SQL, Jenkins, and AI-assisted development tools to build robust automation frameworks and improve software quality across the development lifecycle. This is not a script-maintenance role—we are seeking someone who can design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks while partnering closely with developers and product teams. What You’ll Do Build and maintain automated UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript Expand automation frameworks and create reusable testing components Validate backend data using SQL (Oracle preferred Test modern web applications and REST APIs Execute and maintain automated testing within CI/CD pipelines Analyze failures using logs, traces, network activity, and database validation Perform exploratory, regression, integration, and manual testing when needed Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and QA teams during development Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage What We’re Looking For Hands-on Playwright automation experience Strong TypeScript development skills API testing experience (REST, JSON, HTTP) SQL experience for backend validation CI/CD experience (Jenkins preferred) Experience designing and improving automation frameworks Knowledge of Git and modern development workflows Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Preferred Experience Angular application testing Java-based API testing GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools Experience working in Agile development environments #LI-PS1 #INDPRO .entry-content .clear #post-##
