About the role
Role Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Data Manager to support environmental and project-based data operations. The role focuses on integrating, validating, automating, and visualizing data from multiple sources while ensuring high standards of data quality, reporting accuracy, and timely delivery. You will work closely with project teams, laboratories, and clients to enable data-driven decision-making through structured datasets and insightful dashboards. Key Responsibilities : - Integrate data from laboratory systems, field data collection, and historical sources into ERM databases and related data platforms. - Perform data conversion and transformation activities, including PDF to Excel, CSV imports, formatting, cleansing, and structuring datasets. - Validate data for accuracy, logic, consistency, and completeness throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate with internal teams and client-contracted laboratories to ensure data quality and reporting standards are met. - Design and implement automation workflows using AI-based tools to reduce manual and repetitive data processing tasks. - Improve efficiency in document extraction, data handling, and reporting workflows through automation initiatives. - Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to support project insights, performance monitoring, and client-facing reports. - Create data visualizations and analytical reports for a wide range of environmental and operational projects. - Provide ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, and query support to project stakeholders. - Collaborate with project teams to support sampling campaigns, manage data-related deliverables, and align with project timelines. - Maintain strong working relationships with clients, ERM colleagues, and subcontractors. - Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Required Qualifications & Skills : - Minimum 5 years of experience in data management or analytics roles. - Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI. - Experience using AI tools for automation, document extraction, or workflow optimization. - Solid analytical skills with the ability to assess data logic, consistency, and quality. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workloads independently. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Comfortable working in a computer-based, desk-oriented environment.
