As a CMDB Asset Management Specialist at State Street, you will play a crucial role in managing the full lifecycle, accuracy, and integrity of IT asset and configuration data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) and IT assets within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, solution architects, and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between CMDB, discovery tools, and external systems. - Monitor, analyze, and report on CMDB health metrics (e.g., completeness, correctness, compliance) and lead remediation efforts where gaps are identified. - Support ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to ensure accurate and automated population of CI and asset data. - Ensure CMDB processes and data support audit, risk, security, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization. - Experience supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL standards. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement. - Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience working with ServiceNow, CMDB, IT Asset Management, or related ITSM functions.
