Actual job title: Energy PCB designer

Job Description:

• Design a PCB layout to meet product requirement.

• Design a PCB layout which requires Lean Manufacturing.

• Inspect prototype PC boards / Flex and interface with vendor on quality issues.

• Interface closely with Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineer on PCB / Flex requirement.

• Interface with the factory on PCB layout factors affecting product yield.

• Generate from schematic to PCB to perform layout and also generate gerber file for supplier to fabricate PCB or flex.

• Integrated with mechanical engineer to design outline with better connection.

• Interface closely with program manager for the PCB/Flex delivery schedule.

• Interface with Quality team for assembly improvement on PCB/Flex design.

• Releasing PCB / Flex prints and parts qualification report into system.

• Familiar de-panelization method for Flex and PCB

Specific Knowledge / Skills:

• At least 3-4 years of layout design experience

• Minimum bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

• Good in analytical and problem solving skills

• Familiar with design guidelines such as RF & ESD of electrical commodity

• Basic knowledge in manufacturing & assembly process & application of design for manufacturing & Assembly

• Familiar Allegro Cadence / PADs with schematic & layout design will be added advantage
