About the role
Job Description: The Frankfurt team is responsible to test the latest communication chips from Qualcomm in the various European networks to ensure our chips are working no matter which operator or infrastrcuture equipment (E//, Nokia, Huawei) and which frequency bands or technology (GSM, UMTS, LTE & 5G) are used.
To prepare our field test sessions we are looking for a person helping in our lab environment on device preparation. Rhode & Schwarz and Anritsu Tester need to be operated to prepare our phones. This will be the main focus of the position.
Depending on need the person will need to help out in certain field as well – max. 2 weeks per month in average and help on test execution. For more details see following job description. Travel needs is 2 out of 5 weeks for Lab Test Technician.
We work in small teams (2-3 people) – whereas the consultant is usually the only person on test site – the other folks guide on test execution and are analyzing in back office the failures and escalate the failures to development teams.
Training is done on the job.
