Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MS&T Senior Bioprocess Engineer to join the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) team at our state-of-the-art single-use multi-product commercialisation biotech facility at Dunboyne. This role is integral in supporting technology transfer activities, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives for both clinical and commercial new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in key technology transfer activities for new product introduction projects.

• Develop strategies for process and cleaning validation programs in compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.

• Act as a process Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support process investigations and troubleshooting.

• Utilize risk management techniques to assess strategies and prioritize initiatives.

• Drive and lead business-critical projects on-site related to new product introduction and site capability enhancement.

• Act as a system owner and SME to support investigations and apply risk management techniques to prioritize activities.

• Continuously optimize process equipment and develop innovative business solutions for process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Required:

• • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a biologics drug substance environment.

• • Strong technical expertise in biological drug substance upstream and/or downstream purification unit operations.

• • Experience in technology transfers for clinical or commercial biologics.

• Desirable:

• • Experience with automated systems.

• • Knowledge of process validation and cleaning validation.

• Education Requirements

• • Bachelor’s Level 8 degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Science, or equivalent) with relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
