About the role
Release Manager
Remote - Poland
Rate : 1275-1300 PLN/day
Job Description:
· Drive Release Management Transformation design for a Global client.
· Review current Release foundations including Release models, strategies, processes, and policies and recommended the future state.
· Identify gaps with current Release metrics and fine-tune based on the new ask.
· Create and design an adoption plan and drive to closure.
· Manage Inventory of current RM and Change management tools stack for analysis
· Recommendation for Release Management Tools and proposed Implementation Plan
· Document Release blueprints including a checklist for 1 Technology/Product per each program
· Experience with Planning the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.
· Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned release s, and infrastructure updates.
· Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
· Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
· Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.
· Schedule the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
· Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release , various notifications lists, and dependencies.
SKILLSET
· [Must] Strong Working knowledge of various Release Management tools like Plutora, CI/CD environments and tools like Gitlab, Team City, Jira, GIT/Bitbucket
· [Must] Experience in handling the delivery of Programs
· [Must] Experience in Assessment and Recommendation of various Release management strategies and processes.
· [Must] Experience with Agile and Waterfall-based SDLC methodologies.
· [Required] Technically skilled in release management with blue-green, canary, rolling-based approaches, monitoring, compliance, disaster recovery approach
