About the role
Your role:
Help define how Driving Simulation tools can be used to build the next generation of Autonomous Driving solutions
Manage the usage to ensure optimal use of high costs assets, including tools from IPG (CarMaker), Ansys (Scanner Studio), Applied Intuition, and potential other Simulation SW Assets for up to 6000 engineers located around the world.
Lead the tool strategy to support the Simulation area of complex Active Safety and Autonomous Driving Programs.
Be the owner of the tools suite used for Simulation, and coach the product lines regarding the usage of the frameworks (SIL, HIL, simulation tools), as well as defining the corporate methods of usage for future programs.
Compare different solutions required by product lines, and make the technical decision in the most cost-optimal way (reuse of existing solutions or tools).
Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent

Experience using at least one tool used for road simulation, Open & Closed Loop Simulation, like CarMaker, Applied Intuition, Scanner Studio etc.

Experience in setting up and operating with SIL and HIL environments

Experience with products from vendors: Ansys, IPG, Applied Intuition or Dspace

Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous: Driver Assistance Systems, tools and methods for software quality assurance, aSPICE, System test, development of safety critical systems, system or software architecture definition

Knowledge or experience with agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or XP.
