UX Designer

UX Designer- New Role-

Client - Poland - Remote

6 Months contract

PAY RATE Rate : 1020 PLN/ DAY

Principal Accountabilities

• Understand user needs by researching, conducting focus groups, sketching and usability testing with users

• Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

• Mentor less experienced designers and contribute in improving design workflow

• Ensure that product is follow industry and Client best standards

• Assist with development and implementation of designs by collaborating hand-in-hand with developers to ensure designed experience

• Facilitate Product Owners to help them understand product vision

• Closely work with Business Analysts to both validate designs and ensure adherence to the agreed approach

Functional Management • This job has no functional management responsibility.

Core Skills We are looking for an experienced UX Designer (Lead) with experience in building browser based web applications who is comfortable working alongside a strong, international team of engineers, to build applications for a key Surveillance initiative.

Whilst core skills are listed below, Customer is mainly looking for passionate people who are looking to continually improve and challenge themselves to work in a highly disciplined, verifiable manner.

Core Skills / Characteristics:

• Minimum 5 years of UX design professional experience

• A degree of equivalent education/experience in design is preferable

• Strong visual design skills and ability to create design for web application

• Robust toolkit from whiteboard and hand sketches to Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite etc.

• Experience of working in agile & kanban

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, synthetizing design thinking approach

• Self-motivation and share responsibility for team success

Additional Experience & Skills Good to Have:

• Knowledge of UX tools (Axure, Figma, Adobe XD)

• Knowledge of scripting/mark-up languages (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JSON)

• Experience with javascript frameworks such as Angular

• Experience with Query languages (SQL, ElasticSearch Query DSL)
