About Eternal Robotics Eternal Robotics is a deep-tech company operating at the intersection of industrial automation, computer vision, and AI. We design and deliver intelligent, end-to-end automation systems that integrate PLCs, robotics, and AI-driven vision solutions for modern manufacturing environments. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Automation Architect / Lead with strong expertise in PLCSCADAVision integrated systems for SPM machines. This role is critical in defining system architecture and driving full lifecycle deliveryfrom design and integration to commissioningwhile acting as a bridge between AI/vision teams and control system engineering. Key Responsibilities 1. Automation System Architecture Design end-to-end architectures for PLC, SCADA, robotics, and AI vision systemsDevelop scalable control systems using Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCPDefine data interfaces between AI/vision systems and PLCs2. PLC & Control Systems Engineering Develop modular PLC programs (IEC 61131-3: ST, LD, FBD)Build reusable function block librariesLead PLCvision integration and ensure fail-safe architectures3. System Integration & Testing Drive FAT/SAT execution, debugging, and system validationDesign simulation environments (digital twins / HIL setups)Oversee I/O validation, calibration, and performance testing4. Vendor & Technology Management Evaluate and manage vendors (PLCs, drives, sensors, vision systems)Collaborate with OEMs and system integratorsExplore next-gen control hardware and protocols5. Leadership & Execution Lead cross-functional teams (PLC, electrical, AI/vision)Mentor engineers on structured programming and validationEnsure coordination across mechanical, electrical, and software teams6.
