Information Technology Specialist

As an IT Specialist I or II at DevTools, with 5-7 years of professional experience, you will be expected to solve complex problems using established methods, techniques, and tools at a bachelor's level of expertise. Your role will involve delivering tangible, project-based results, presenting professional arguments to support decisions, and influencing stakeholders effectively. Continuous focus on improving work processes is essential, along with a proactive approach to learning new tools and scripting languages for automating manual tasks. You should be able to anticipate potential issues and understand the broader impact of your actions. In the ICT Applications Team, particularly within the ALM Team, you will work alongside eight highly skilled professionals from diverse backgrounds. The team manages applications related to the software development lifecycle, including requirements, testing, change management, and release management. Due to increasing user demand, the team is expanding and seeking a candidate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Technology, and prior experience with ALM/CI-CD tools. Primary Responsibilities: - Respond to and resolve user queries/issues related to ALM applications - Translate user feedback into structured improvement requests or requirements - Manage user and access administration for ALM applications - Support application upgrades - Automate existing administrative processes - Assist senior team members with various tasks - Restore services/applications during disruptions - Monitor application health using appropriate tools - Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong team player with a proactive attitude - Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies - Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field - Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) - Experience with Linux OS is a plus - Familiarity with Docker and Containerization is a plus - Mandatory experience with CI/CD tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python is an asset Tools You Will Work With: - Atlassian Jira - Atlassian Bitbucket (Prior experience with Git operations or working in similar tools is mandatory) - Atlassian Bamboo (Experience with CI/CD tools is mandatory) - Atlassian Confluence - JFrog Artifactory (Experience with similar release management tools is a plus) If you are interested in this opportunity, please share your updated resume.
