About the role
Role & responsibilities: - 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and debugging real-time embedded software applications using C and/or C++. - Strong experience in developing bare-metal or RTOS-based firmware for RISC-V cores (RV32/RV64). (Mandatory) - Proficiency in at least one modern scripting language, preferably Python. - Hands-on experience in driver development and debugging for peripherals such as: 1. I2C 2. SMBus 3. I3C - Experience in board and SoC bring-up using JTAG or equivalent debugging mechanisms. - Experience in porting, integrating, and using RTOS solutions such as: 1. Zephyr 2. FreeRTOS - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments. - Good understanding of embedded system architecture, memory management, and hardware-software interaction. Preferred candidate profile: - Experience with firmware update mechanisms (FW Update/OTA). - Experience in bootloader development and customization. - Knowledge of Secure Boot, chain of trust, and firmware security concepts. - Familiarity with embedded development tools, debuggers, and version control systems (Git).
