Firmware Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and debugging real-time embedded software applications using C and/or C++. Strong experience in developing bare-metal or RTOS-based firmware for RISC-V cores (RV32/RV64). (Mandatory) Proficiency in at least one modern scripting language, preferably Python. Hands-on experience in driver development and debugging for peripherals such as: I2C SMBus I3C Experience in board and SoC bring-up using JTAG or equivalent debugging mechanisms. Experience in porting, integrating, and using RTOS solutions such as: Zephyr FreeRTOS Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments. Good understanding of embedded system architecture, memory management, and hardware-software interaction. Preferred candidate profile Experience with firmware update mechanisms (FW Update/OTA). Experience in bootloader development and customization. Knowledge of Secure Boot, chain of trust, and firmware security concepts. Familiarity with embedded development tools, debuggers, and version control systems (Git). .
