DND Network Engineer

Position: DND Network Engineer Experience: 6+ Years Job Type: Permanent Job Mode: Remote Shift Timings: Rotational Shift Notice Period: immediate Joiner Job Summary We are looking for a Ciena Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Ciena optical networking solutions. The primary responsibility is to prepare Method of Procedure (MOP) documents and network design documents for field engineers. The candidate should have a basic understanding of Ciena products and IP networking concepts. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with Ciena 6500 and RLS platforms. Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts, including OSPF and BGP protocols. Experience creating Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for maintenance activities in Ciena networks. Experience preparing network design documents and diagrams. Proficiency in creating Visio diagrams, including RFV, SFD, and DCN designs. Basic understanding of Ciena product architecture and functionality. Ability to support field engineers with technical documentation. Fast learner with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Flexible to work primarily during EMEA hours and APAC hours as required. Education BE / BTech / MCA / MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
