Senior Java Developer (No C2C)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Developer Services Software Engineering team supporting enterprise infrastructure and application development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Baltimore, MD Pay Range: $62-65/hr depending on years of experience What's the Job? Develop, analyze, design, build, and implement infrastructure and software solutions for enterprise use Research enterprise problems and orchestrate cloud installations to support scalable, resilient systems Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts across multiple domains Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance standards and practices Mentor team members and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making What's Needed? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work experience Strong experience with the software development lifecycle and enterprise tools and services Experience with Kotlin Proficiency with cloud infrastructure components, especially AWS, including deployment and maintenance Knowledge of core infrastructure capabilities such as operating systems, networking, identity, and access management Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines What's in it for me?
