Role Overview: As an Upstream Revenue Accounting Business Analyst at ExxonMobil, you will play a crucial role in supporting a portfolio of non-SAP Revenue applications. Your responsibilities will include managing incidents, problem or work requests, coordinating efforts with other IT support teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements, setting up configuration, implementing changes, performing testing, and working collaboratively with business users and external partners. Additionally, you will assist with work estimation and planning as part of Agile implementation in the team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage incidents, problem or work requests including configuration changes, minor enhancements, resolution of break-in fix issues, problem solving and troubleshooting, business consulting, data/analysis maintenance, user training and collaboration. - Coordinate efforts with other IT support teams (SAP, Non-SAP, other applications). - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. - Set up configuration, implement changes, perform unit/integration testing. - Work with business users and external partners. - Assist with work estimation and planning as part of Agile implementation in the team. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience supporting financial applications for Upstream processes (such as Energy Component and/or PAS and/or GeRAS and/or EDI viewer). - Working experience in the Energy industry is desirable. - Basic understanding of cloud computing, integration techniques, and programming languages (Java, .NET C#, Python). - Knowledge in modern technology and authentication. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience working with SQL and database management systems. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working as an IT business analyst. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software. - Flexibility to attend meetings outside of your work schedule. - Bachelors or masters degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT other relevant engineering disciplines with a minimum GPA of 7.0.
