As part of the Advanced Process Control (APC) Applications team at ExxonMobil's Bengaluru Technology Center, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a global scale and contribute to sustaining and improving the performance of existing Model Predictive Control (MPC) or Real Time Optimization (RTO) applications. Your role will involve assessing APC improvement opportunities, developing and implementing new applications globally, and partnering with site personnel to enhance unit performance. You will also maintain expertise in APC applications, provide technical support to assets, and drive cross collaboration to enable advanced process control activities worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Maximize benefits from optimization applications by remotely sustaining and improving the performance of existing MPC or RTO applications - Assess APC improvement opportunities for the fleet, develop and implement new applications globally - Partner with site personnel to identify, engineer, and implement MPC or RTO improvements - Maintain expertise in APC applications, provide technical support, and drive cross collaboration - Serve as a technical mentor to enhance team members' skill proficiencies and drive competency development - Develop and leverage tools and techniques to improve delivery effectiveness of APC applications - Stay updated with industry standards and best practices to incorporate into APC applications Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing or supporting APC applications - Strong technical knowledge and expertise in MPC using software like AspenTech DMC, RMPCT, or PACE - Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in chemical engineering or a related field - Comfortable working shifts and knowledgeable about petrochemical assets or oil and gas operations - Experience in tuning, designing, and implementing process control schemes with DCS knowledge - Excellent written and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork - Preferred skills include inferential modeling, RTO knowledge, process data historians, and data analytics tools Please note that ExxonMobil offers a range of benefits including competitive compensation, medical plans, retirement benefits, global networking opportunities, training programs, workplace flexibility, and more.
