BI Architect Manager

Role Overview: As a Data Visualization Architect Manager at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) - Data and Analytics (D&A) team, you will be responsible for creating compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and integrate data, ensure accuracy, optimize performance, and provide training and support to end-users. Your role will also involve staying updated with industry trends, proposing new tools, and enhancing visualization capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Create interactive and static visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to clearly communicate data insights and trends. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clean, and integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability of visualizations. - Focus on user-centric design principles to ensure intuitive visualizations and conduct usability testing. - Develop and implement best practices for data visualization architecture and establish guidelines for maintaining visualizations. - Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable visual insights. - Optimize visualization performance to efficiently handle large datasets and ensure quick load times. - Experience in Requirements Gathering, analyzing user needs, estimating effort/timeline, and proposing solutions for proposals. - Provide training and support to end-users on interacting with visualizations, creating documentation and user guides as needed. - Stay current with industry trends, propose new tools and techniques to enhance visualization capabilities. Qualifications: - Proven experience in data visualization and dashboard development with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. - Proficiency in SQL, experience in data manipulation, transformation, and knowledge of programming languages like Python or R. - Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography. - Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify key insights, and strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. - Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, exposure to RFPs, Estimation, and Planning. Preferred Skills: - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design principles.
