As a Senior in the P and C Actuarial team at EY GDS Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team in providing world-class actuarial services globally to address complex challenges in the financial services industry. You will work closely with other team members in delivering solutions to leading clients in the Insurance Sector. The role is designed to help you pursue actuarial exams while developing the necessary skills to become a successful actuarial consultant. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement solutions within the Insurance service line and collaborate with other service lines - Provide high-quality results and effective solutions working with Senior Consultants, Managers, or Senior Managers - Deliver engagements within the designated timeline, ensuring all work is of high standards - Manage priorities, communicate activity status, and report all chargeable hours - Perform actuarial liability estimation, data analysis, valuation of reserves, loss projection, and benchmarking against the market - Conduct risk analytics, develop analytical tools, and stay informed of current business and economic developments Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in the General Insurance industry - Ability to multi-task, with good analytical skills and a flexible work attitude - Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, SPSS, etc. - Strong academic background with a bachelors degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in handling a small team will be an advantage Joining the EY GDS team will provide you with continuous learning opportunities, transformative leadership, and a diverse and inclusive culture.
