Senior Consultant - Actuarial US P&C

As a Senior in the Actuarial team at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects in the insurance sector and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. Your role will involve developing and implementing solutions within the insurance service line while working closely with Senior Consultants, Managers, and other team members. You will play a key role in providing high-quality results, delivering projects within the set timelines, and ensuring that all engagements are of high standards and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality results and effective solutions in collaboration with team members - Offer focused solutions and training to staff members - Ensure timely delivery of engagements and maintain high-quality standards - Manage priorities, communicate activity status, and report chargeable hours - Perform actuarial liability estimation for general insurance lines of business - Analyze historical claims data, identify trends, and report findings - Conduct valuation of reserves through IBNR models - Review data, methodologies, assumptions, and benchmark against the market - Perform large loss analysis, rating factor analysis, and CAT benchmarking - Conduct risk analytics and develop analytical tools - Stay informed about industry developments and economic trends Qualifications Required: - Proactive attitude and willingness for personal and professional growth - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Actuarial knowledge and experience in the insurance industry - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of ARIUS, Alteryx, IGLOO, ResQ, or other reserving software is a plus Join EY and be a part of a dynamic team that is committed to building a better working world.
