In this role as a Senior in the Managed Services, Life Actuarial practice at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with a high-performing, supportive team of professionals. Your main responsibility will be to deliver solutions to leading clients in the Insurance Sector, collaborating closely with other team members in EY's global network of insurance sector and consulting professionals. You will work on large scale engagements, supporting senior managers/directors to provide high-quality client solutions and develop long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement solutions within the Insurance service line and in collaboration with other service lines - Understand US product lines and regulatory standards; hands-on implementation experience is desirable - Review work done by junior members to ensure quality during time-sensitive deadlines - Maneuver around existing modeling setup to incorporate asset or liability cashflows - Demonstrate understanding of AoC concept and steps - Utilize strong Excel skills, including running and modifying macros for Actuarial Cashflows - Hands-on experience with actuarial valuation software such as Prophet / Axis / MG Alpha - Prepare and deliver high-quality PPT decks - Have in-depth understanding of insurance products and regulations in one or more geographies Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in valuation / reporting / pricing or modeling function in a life actuarial team - Good analytical skills - Proficiency in MS-Office Suite; experience with Power BI, VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, SPSS is a plus - Actuarial exam progress is beneficial - Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder presentations - Ability to build relationships with colleagues and promote a collaborative environment - Overseas exposure, especially in Australia/UK/US/Europe markets, is advantageous In this role, you are expected to have a learning mindset, passion for adding value, and the ability to actively contribute to projects.
