Automation Tester (Visakhapatnam)

Job Title: Automation Tester Location: Visakhapatnam Key Responsibilities: - Develop, design, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). - Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and write test cases. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze the results to detect and troubleshoot issues. - Report defects and track their resolution, providing feedback to development teams. - Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes. - Monitor and enhance the performance of automated test suites. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, and results. - Contribute to the design and architecture of the testing framework. - Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency of automation scripts. - Ensure high-quality software through the use of automated testing tools and techniques. Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Automation Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role. - Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Test Complete, etc. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby and JavaScript. - Knowledge of testing methodologies, including agile testing practices. - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. - Solid understanding of databases and the ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
