About the role
Job Title: Automation Tester Location: Visakhapatnam Key Responsibilities: Develop, design, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and write test cases. Execute automated test scripts and analyze the results to detect and troubleshoot issues. Report defects and track their resolution, providing feedback to development teams. Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes. Monitor and enhance the performance of automated test suites. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, and results. Contribute to the design and architecture of the testing framework. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency of automation scripts. Ensure high-quality software through the use of automated testing tools and techniques. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as an Automation Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role. Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Test Complete, etc. Robust programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby and JavaScript. Knowledge of testing methodologies, including agile testing practices. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus. Solid understanding of databases and the ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in mobile automation testing.
