Founding Engineer - Meraki Labs

As a Founding Engineer (AI-Native Builder) at Meraki Labs, you will play a crucial role in building and rapidly scaling AI-first, "moonshot" startups. You will be working on-site in HSR, Bengaluru and will have the opportunity to directly work with visionary entrepreneurs Mukesh Bansal and Peeyush Ranjan. Role Overview: You will be responsible for shipping production-grade products in a matter of weeks, owning the architecture, quality, and production-readiness. You will act as a high-output Individual Contributor (IC) while setting technical standards and mentoring your Full Stack partner. Your primary focus will be on turning ambiguous problem statements into live products and establishing a solid technical foundation for startup ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Ship 0-to-1: Transform ambiguous problem statements into live, production-grade products across frontend, backend, data, and integrations. - Build AI-native: Utilize modern AI IDEs as a force multiplier, owning the architecture and production-readiness. - Own the whole stack: Develop modern frontend, backend services, data layer, and integrations without compromising on quality. - Set the rails: Establish architecture, code standards, and review discipline for your Junior FS partner to avoid tech debt. - Make production-grade calls: Ensure auth, security, error handling, and observability meet real user standards. Qualifications Required: - Genuine full-stack depth with proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js / Python / Java, and PostgreSQL. - AI-Native Velocity: Track record of shipping products fast using AI tooling. - Production Taste: Ability to harden products and scale effectively. - Founder-Grade Ownership: High autonomy, high accountability, and mentoring skills. - Bias to Ship: Comfort with ambiguity and drive for continuous improvement.
