About the role
Role Overview: You will be the System Analyst for Finance System team in Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services (EDMCS). Your main responsibility will be to support the Chart of Accounts (CoA) Elevation team by processing, developing/enhancing, and overseeing the testing process. You will assist with full end-to-end system testing when functionality is changed or new functionality is rolled out. Your role will involve acting as the bridge between finance/business strategy and IT technology, driving value by ensuring the EPM system is optimized, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Establish a "single source of truth" by governing metadata and hierarchies in the EDMCS system to reduce errors and ensure consistency. - Partner directly with leadership teams to improve decision-making, deliver measurable impact, and reduce operational risk. - Drive strategic business transformation by bridging the gap between data integrity and financial performance, expanding from technical administration into strategic consulting. - Administer, implement, and optimize the existing Chart of Accounts (CoA) dimension and hierarchies supporting the COA governance team. - Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to enhance system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience. - 3+ years of experience working with enterprise-scale EDM/PeopleSoft Financial systems. - Extensive prior work experience with systems and application management. - Strong understanding of financial data structures, Chart of Accounts, and enterprise reporting. - Proficient with desktop tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical communication platforms. - Experience coordinating cross-functional processes with multiple stakeholders. - Knowledge/Understanding of SoX and GAAP. - Ability to work under pressure, meet demanding deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and streamline complex requirements to simplify Business Processes.
