36 years of experience in data warehousing with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and its core features and Cortex AI Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts with the ability to design and build ETL pipelines from diverse data sources (structured, semi-structured, and flat files) Experience in automating data ingestion using Snowpipe and orchestration tools, along with writing complex SQL and managing schemas, views, streams, tasks, and stored procedures Proven ability to optimize performance and cost using virtual warehouses, clustering keys, and caching techniques Skilled in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting code, with a focus on early defect detection and maintaining clear technical documentation Exposure to Snowflake AI capabilities; familiarity with Linux shell scripting required, and Python knowledge is an added advantage
